Tiles with Links Module
Best practices
- The tiles with links module is designed to provide a series of short text links to other pages. If you need to explain the nature of the links, use the callout content module instead.
- Link text is required. You may not use this module to only present images as links.
- The module has an optional set of top material that mirrors the options available for the callout content module (headline, blurb, link, etc.). Only use this if it makes sense — don't force content to fit.
- If you choose to upload your own images, they will automatically be shaded so the white text is easy to read. This can't be disabled, so choose your images with this in mind. These are background images - text will appear over them, partially obscuring the image..
- If you choose to use default colors, don't use a navy tile with a navy background.
To create a new callout content module:
- From the New Content menu, click Modules->Tiles with Links. The module will be placed in the _modules folder by default. You can create multiple sub-folders within _modules as needed (similar to images and files). To create multiple instances of this module, copy the module and rename it. Edit each module separately.
- Click Edit to bring up the edit screen.
- Complete these fields:
- Block name: This will default to "tiles-with-links". Change it to something that describes the module.
- Top material: Optional text displayed above the tiles
- Headline: White, sentence case, formatted as heading 2
- Headline Break: As Headline, indented
- Blurb: Smaller sentence case, white

What not to do
Text and tile choice:
- Make sure your tiles look good together. Don't put navy on a navy background, and don't mix custom images with default colors.
- Make sure your link text is short and understandable. You don't have space to explain your text, so make it clear to the user what clicking on the tile will do.
What Not to Do
Avoid mixing default colors and custom background images for tiles
